Dust, Dirt, Noise and Kitchen Work

by | Aug 13, 2018

“Work” No one likes that word.  And when you see Kitchen in front of it, you should automatically think Campus Cooks.  Because to us, it’s not “work” it’s actually fun.

What type of work are we talking about?  The kind that continues to happen over the summer and many cases throughout the year.  Whether it is a new oven, exhaust system, floor, and more we can help.

As professionals of the food industry, quite often it becomes forgotten that we do more than food.  Of course we do special events and are specialists in theme building, but we also can also assist in building/remodeling your kitchen.

How does this work, you ask?  It’s simple.  With the many years of experience behind us, we will review what your wants and needs are and provide an assessment.  It can be anything from expanding a dining area to implementing all new kitchen equipment, we can provide many of the details required to get the job done.  There have been numerous times where we have rolled up our sleeves and have done much of the work (this does take into consideration work we can do legally and not requiring a certified professional in that particular trade).

Back in 2012, we helped a fraternity at Northwestern restore their kitchen.  It was left in pretty poor condition from the individual prior our arrival.  Martin Romero, Regional Supervisor of Northwestern, wanted to jump right in and start fixing it up.  “It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun.  It saved them money, time, and frustration and we were able to get the kitchen up code and our standards.  It was a really good feeling.”  Just like Martin, every Supervisor in the company has helped directly or managed a variety of projects from simple painting, to replacement of ovens, flat-top grills, ice machines, and more.

If your having some work done over the next few months, or plan on some large projects over the next couple of years, talk to us.  We will assist in any way we can.  This also goes for equipment/serving-ware orders, and whatever else you may need when it comes to kitchen and dining service.
