May 11th, also known as National “Eat What You Want Day” is finally here! While it’s important to live a healthy lifestyle, it is also important to incorporate balance into your life. A lot of times we create this idea that allowing ourselves to have a treat is a bad thing, especially while eating healthily. When you restrict the food you love, you will only lead yourself in to over indulging. Life is all about balance, whether that be in academics, work, personal life, or even diet.
Allow yourself a few treats every once in a while. Every one deserves some donuts, pizza, ice cream, French fries, etc.
So on this day, as I like to say, “TREAT YO’ SELF”
