Campus Cooks Partners with the Colorado State University Horticultural Program’s Student Farm

by | Sep 18, 2017

It would be hard to find more local or fresh produce, then purchasing it straight from the students that may end up eating the food that they grew! That was the case, recently, at Colorado State University, as a visit to the student farm’s specialty crops seminar showed off all that is available and ready to cook with in fraternity and sorority houses on campus.

Campus Cooks has been working with Colorado State University’s Horticulture Program to find available produce grown by fellow students. These greens can then be used to cook with by Campus Cooks’ chefs.

The process is simple. Campus Cooks is given the dates and quantities of the products that are ready for use and our chefs spend time building them into their menus.

Stay tuned for more from our farm to table program!
