Campus Cooks Partners with Cookies For Kids’ Cancer to Host Bake Sale Events

by | Nov 14, 2017

Cookies For Kids’ Cancer simply asks that you #BeAGoodCookie on their social media accounts that show the impact the organization has made in the lives of families affected by childhood cancers.

In addition to the philanthropic support Campus Cooks provides to the chapters that we serve on campuses across the nation, we were also able to find a national organization to partner with as the calendar turned to fall and students returned to school.

During the month of October, Campus Cooks partnered with Cookies For Kids Cancer, a non-profit organization committed to raising funds for research to develop new, improved treatments for pediatric cancer, the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S. Through a series of bake sales events that were hosted by Campus Cooks’ staff and volunteers, we were able to help raise funds that benefit such an important cause.

In cooperation with the chapters that we serve on the particular campus, our chefs prepped and baked the cookies that were then sold at the bake sale events for a suggested donation. 100% of the proceeds went straight to Cookies For Kids Cancer, which then provides grants to children’s hospitals such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and many more.

Want to host your own Cookies For Kids Cancer bake sale event? Let us know! We would love to help! Also, keep an eye on Campus Cooks’ social media accounts for more events coming soon to a campus near you.
