Our singular purpose at Campus Cooks is to enhance the Greek Experience by improving the wellness of the chapter. We believe that is best done through the kitchen and the food we serve. The reason we are so passionate, is driven by Campus Cooks’ founder and President, Bill Reeder. Bill learned about the need for a better Greek food service while a student at Northwestern University. His fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi, went through 3 cooks in 4 years. He had to contend with poor food quality, cost overruns, attendance issues and theft, all while focusing on his studies. Midway through his senior year, Bill hired a local caterer so that his brothers would not have to deal with those same issues in future years.

Some years after graduating, Bill reconnected with that catering firm and Campus Cooks, as presented today, was born. In addition to his role with Campus Cooks, Bill also serves as President of his chapter’s House Corporation Board. This direct experience and understanding of the impact that quality kitchen management has on Greek Life is why Campus Cooks was started and drives our commitment every day.
